Holy
Name School is a non-profit Catholic elementary school located in San
Francisco’s Sunset District. We
serve approximately 450 students and reflect the cultural diversity of San
Francisco. We are writing to ask
for your support. Please join
parents, teachers, staff and other members of the community committed to
providing a quality education for the children here at Holy Name.
Holy
Name School provides children with an excellent academic curriculum. We offer
our students a variety of activities to enrich their lives.
Our current enrichment program includes sports, the arts, and computer
and science labs. We constantly
strive to expand and strengthen these programs, but we are limited by financial
constraints.
To
provide these enrichment programs, we count on the support of involved parents,
teachers, staff and students, but we cannot do it alone.
We rely heavily on the generous support of businesses in our community,
such as yours, to make donations to help defray the costs of providing
enrichment programs.
Throughout
the year, we hold a number of fundraising events to raise the funds necessary to
continue to offer these programs. Our
major fundraising events for the School Year 2006-2007 will be two Crab dinners
one in February and one in November; the St. Patrick’s Dinner Dance in March;
the Walk-a-Thon in April and a Carnival in the Fall.
For
each of these events, we rely on donations from individuals and businesses in
our community. We appreciate any
donation you are able to make. We
will use any item you donate in our fundraising efforts.
Any monetary donations will go directly towards supporting our enrichment
programs. We will gratefully
acknowledge contributors at the events and in our newsletter that we send home
each week with our students.
We
are a non-profit organization. Our
tax identification number is 94-1156674. All
contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted under law. Once we receive your donation, we will send you a letter
acknowledging your gift to Holy Name School.
